UNDER THE MICROSCOPE Taxolog, Inc., opened the doors of a cutting-edge biomedical research facility in Tallahassee, Florida, on March 13, 2003. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at the new facility on Sessions Road, which included tours of the building and presentations by Taxolog scientists. The Tallahassee facility is a symbiotic blend of office space, laboratories and state-of-the-art scientific equipment. The mayor of Tallahassee, the Leon County Commission Chair, Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce officials and other government, business and civic leaders joined in the festivities.
SCIENTISTS AND SHOVELS Top officials from state and local government, Florida State University and the Tallahassee Chamber joined Taxolog and SynCure Cancer Research Foundation to break ground for the Tallahassee-based facility on October 9, 2001, at the building site on Sessions Road. The Tallahassee branch is a 23,000-square-foot, single-story laboratory and office building emphasizing biomedical research.
